The process
Continuous fiber rovings are pulled through a resin bath and a heated die, which sets the profile and the fiber direction. The result is a straight, solid rod with a high fiber volume.
Pultrusion gives the highest stiffness per millimetre of diameter of our processes, which is why rods are used for tie rods, stiffeners and push rods. The same pultrusion lines also produce square and octagonal tubes — send us the cross-section you need.
