Who is responsible

Vactor Composites Company Limited.

For anything on this page, write to sales@vactortech.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we receive the details you enter:

• Your name, company, e-mail address and telephone number
• The product range you are interested in and the content of your message
• Company, name, e-mail address and message are required; the other fields are optional

Independently of the form, our web server records the IP address, the page requested, the browser type and the time of the request in a server log.

Your enquiry is also stored in a local record on our server so that it is not lost if e-mail delivery fails. This record is kept only to answer your enquiry and is not shared with anyone else.

Why we process it

We use this information for three purposes:

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before a contract)
• To protect the enquiry form against spam and automated submissions (IP rate limit, hidden field) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a usable form)
• To keep the server log for security and fault analysis — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not create profiles.

Cookies, analytics and third parties

This website sets no cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and we do not embed third-party content such as maps or videos.

The typeface used on this website is served from our own server. Opening a page therefore sends no data to font, analytics or advertising providers.

• Our notification e-mail records the IP address the form was sent from, so that we can trace abusive submissions.
• If we offer you the German version of this site, hiding that note is remembered for the current visit only — it is stored in your browser’s session storage (not a cookie) and is deleted when you close the browser.

Who receives your data

Your enquiry reaches our own sales team through the mailbox of our mail provider. The website itself runs on a server provided by our hosting provider. These are the only recipients; we do not sell your data or pass it to anyone else for their own purposes.

Where your data is processed

Our company and the servers that store enquiries are located in China. If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, your enquiry is therefore processed outside the EEA. We process it only to answer your enquiry as described above.

How long we keep it

Enquiry e-mails stay in our sales mailbox while your enquiry is being handled and afterwards as part of our business correspondence. If an order follows, the order data is kept in our order records.

The local enquiry record is kept alongside the e-mail as part of our business correspondence.

The server access log and the application log are kept for 14 days and then deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
• Have incorrect data corrected (rectification)
• Have your data deleted (erasure)
• Restrict or object to our processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Complain to a data protection supervisory authority in your country

To exercise any of these rights, write to sales@vactortech.com. You also have the right to object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page. The date at the top shows the current version.
